The Electronic Digital Infield Regolith Tool (eDIRT) is an Internet based application that is used for the collection of new Soil Profile information. For access to existing soil and land information, use eSPADE.

Google® Chrome™, version 39 or above must be used to run eDIRT. Other Web browsers will not run eDIRT properly and may corrupt or delete your data.

When using eDIRT in the field, it is recommended that a device with 3G or 4G data connectivity be used, however eDIRT will work in an “offline” mode when there is no Internet connectivity. Please connect to eDIRT online before going into the field to ensure you receive the latest application files. The download will consume approximately 5 MB of data.
